Aluku Records presents one of the finest House/Electronic producers in South Africa over the last few years and really excited to have a more deeper house project on the label and also making his debut super proud to present Dwson with his two track EP titled 'Griqua'.



Dwson an artist more known for producing Electronic, Mid Tempo ,Deep and Soulful House music who also won an award for best single 'Luna' on Stay True Sounds at the South African Dance Music Awards back in 2018 .



This artist has loads to offer musically expressing heavy emotions in his production with 'Griqua' track a mixture of Afro/Deep/Progressive House music united as one in a very emotionally driving journey of sorrow and upliftment while on the flip side with 'Finsch' you have a more bouncing catchy sophisticated deep house groovy track wraps up the two different moods this EP has to offer .



Dwson coming from a mix raced heritage (Black & White ethnicity) commonly known in his home place Cape Town who are referred as only in SA as 'Coloured' people wanted this project to be close to his roots and to have his identity like many South African artist have done in the past and present across all their genre of music with this project title of his ancestors 'Griqua' a mix-raced tribe that descended from the Khoisan people with many who worked in the diamond mines such as Finsch , Kemberley and Lower Orange located in the northern cape area .
