Core via Soul is a production team,they are producers,songwriters and
recording Artists.The founders are Lam Spread, Marc Miles and Randy W.
Core via Soul was introduced to the World at the 2004 MIDEM Convention in
Cannes, France. They immediately caught the ear of an Independent Label out of Germany with a 12" promo called "Welcome 2 the Xtreme".
After a few more promo releases and single in 2006, they released the well
received "Junction Blues Project EP" in November of 2008. Tracks from this EP
were played on 107.5 WBLS (N.Y.), 99.5 WBAI (N.Y.), 98.7 WRKS
(N.Y.) and on several internet mix shows nationwide. The vinyl copies
were sold out in Chicago and New York, and is currently available for
digital download on Itunes as well as Amazon, Napster and Emusic.
In June of 2011, they released a follow up EP titled "In My Next Life". This four track Deep House EP that starts with the title track, a Hot Conga filled groove that pulls energy similar to " A Shelter Vibe". "This Movement" chops up some stabs with serious bump, while "Cloud Appeal" & "Go Green Earth" venture off into a Tek Deep House territory.
With Worldwide Distribution of this EP on Vinyl, Core via Soul has captured an audience in London, Japan, South America and Denmark; coupled with excellent reviews from all regions.
Their remix of Whitney Houston's Judgement Day, has beeen a much sort after track. First played by Mikki Afflick and Black Coffee.
