Mikki Afflick presents PolyRhythm who is back on Soul Sun Soul Music with an underground floor shaker. This Ep is HOT LAVA, and has been in my hands for over two years. It is already a New York City underground classic. PolyRhythm has had success with Mr. V, Seed Recordings, their track, Reach Out with MKTL, was released Defected complication,with Osunlade and their first release on Soul Sun Soul Music, Force of Nature with Jah L. Rainey was a WMC smash.

They team up with New York legendary Dj Basil. Dj Basil who has over 35 years on the house scene , a former employee of the legendary club in New York City the Paradise Garage Basil would eventually land a job at the prestigious New York City nightspot Nells, in NYC as the resident. Basil also having residency various Manhattan hot spots like the Sound Factory, Kilimanjaros, The Hard Haus,Red Zone,The Choice with his idol Larry Levan.
Basil and I first met back at the Paradise Garage when we where introduced by Larry Levan. I would have never dreamed that one day I would be releasing something from him on my label. This was a very personal and dear release for me it is where the older pioneers embraces the young, and the dj shows their appreciation to the dancers,without you we all would be spinning to an empty dance floor.
