Bones and Balo offer another understated and gentle groove. The basic beat leaves plenty of space, creating a soothing kind of tension, an undercurrent of energy that never loses its cool. Aki's vocals drift in and out in the distance, adding to the mood without cluttering the sound. Tommy Bones has been spinning his signature blend of deep house, nujazz, soul/disco classics and afro/brazillian beats since he was 14 years old. Tommy is quickly emerging as one of the city's most up-and-coming house producers and dropping this record as his first release on Wave. Louie Balo is one of the most prolific producers around. Made famous by his 'bitch' tracks with legendary diva Roxy in the 80s, he showed his soulful side when he produced the underground hit "Love Commandments" for Gisele Jackson. This is his second release on Wave Music (after The Ride Committee featuring Roxy's 'Curtains For You').
