Pru Fiddy has an intuitive understanding of house music thanks to her years of contributions to the culture as DJ, radio presenter, booking agent, writer, and photographer. In 2020, she added producer to the list with her debut, 'Always Thinking of Ya'. Her strong foundation has since guided her through multiple releases that have garnered acclaim from Moplen, Lenny Fontana, and Dave Lee.
On The Time Is Now EP, Pru Fiddy showcases her piano prowess with soulful chords at the fore. The title track's piano is augmented by a meandering bass line and lush pads forming a stage for her rich vocals. The lyrical refrain, reflecting on the importance of letting go of past experiences to make way for growth, harkens back to her old-school house roots.
