Anna-Marie Johnson again teaming up with label boss Pat Bedeau, this time they are flexing their writing prowess and have written an original song called Holding On, a very soulful number. This is the pairs third Collaboration on Bedfunk and they are really building a great working relationship and complementing each other as shows with this instantly catchy tune. Their first collaboration Missing You, which received massive radio and DJ support from the likes of CJ MacIntosh, Soul Dynamic, The Journeymen, Booker T, DJ Romain, Lars Behrenroth, Lady T and Wez Whynt & BBC Introducing was followed up by their Cover of Chanel's My Life first released on Hed Kandi some twenty years earlier.
Holding on is a fresh slice of soulful house, with the usual Bedfunk edge that keeps it feeling modern and perfectly suited the dance floor. Anna-Marie's vocals brings the song to life with her rich tones. Expect plenty more from this duo, but for now enjoy their latest offering.
