somethinksounds is pleased to announce the signing of Electric Wire Hustle (EWH) and the September 8 release of the New Zealand-based duo's sophomore album, Love Will Prevail. The new recording is the outfit's first full-length release since their self-titled 2009 debut, which charted a number one song on Hype Machine, garnered a five-star review from Okayplayer.com, and received BBC Radio support from Gilles Peterson and Benji B.
The new matirial is causing a stir The first EP (If These Are The Last Days EP) taken from the forthcoming album Love Can Prevail (08/07/14) saw premiers from Bolier Room, RBMA and Clash Magazine and the band were invited to curate 22tracks and have upcoming features with Wax Poetic and RBMA radio confirmed with Highsnobriety permiering the bands new video. This is the next double A Side lifted from the new album before ethe full drop in September.
The duo recently untertook a US tour and played a sold out show at LA's popular weekly Low End Theory party; as well as Brooklyn Bowl in NYC and the mainstage of the Roots Picnic in Philly among other dates.
