With a wave of young Italian production talent showing themselves over the past couple of years, it has been through the success and level of support for his releases, that Pirupa has clearly stood out. Choosing never to be tagged, Pirupa has released a range of music on a wide variety of labels including, Cecille, VIVa MUSiC, Defected, Size, Noir, Audio Therapy, Suara and Cr2, and already has singles pencilled in for Saved, Rebirth and of course today's double-header for Snatch! And what a release it is too... We've gone super-size on this mega-whopper, and the Italian has spared none of the trimmings. For all of those filtered disco cuts that have gone before, hang your heads and behold the power of,'The Leader'. Eight minutes of candy- coated, gold-plated, roller-boot wearing, hot-pant clinging, glitterball FUN. And thats just the guys! Using a host of tried and tested vocal samples, flip side 'House Feeling' gives them new life by matching them with a wonderfully warped and driving tribal soundtrack.
