"To me it has always been about the healing, the touch the and relaxation the music brought to me" the philosophy that inspired the title and composition of this genuinely produced 4 track EP "FIRST CHAPTER OF LIBERTY" by Zwelibanzi – an emerging music maker , that doesn't only make music but a Club Jockey as well!
Zwelibanzi, 22 years of age began experimenting with music at the early age of 15 years. His initial Glance with music was with the by then popular genre , "Pretoria House Funks" until he started to develop an interest of curiosity on how his father (who was a Jazz Artist by then) could genuinely dance to slow paced music embodied with storytelling instruments like he was dancing to an up-tempo club beat. He began to study his father's Jazz collection, gradually grasping the concept of the genre until he evolved to the maturity of perceiving music with inner personal ear.
Music is a form language which he transcends to elaborate and colour out his aspirations, hopes and feelings. He has a pile of singles (music) archived which details stories about anything that is anything.
He is currently signed to his own co-owned stable "Twisted Thinking Music". To his name he has once release a master piece titled "In My Soul" under his initial pseudonym, Zweli Negative (before transitioning to Zwelibanzi) with one of the respected underground labels, Vibe Boutique Recordings in Switzerland.
Zwelibanzi entry is with a package, "FIRST CHAPTER OF LIBERTY" a FOUR track EP which we hope a warm reception for.
