Aroop Roy returns to Basic Fingers with a second reworks release, this time all guns blazing. While the previous part focused more on disco and soul cuts, this one delivers three irresistible afro-influenced house grooves. There’s a reason why Gilles Peterson keeps playing Aroop on his radio show as soon as he get’s his crate digging fingers on a new release. Um Trago is definitely the fiercest offering on here but don’t miss out on the a-side with Ifa & Manuman. Both tracks are enough to get the juices flowing.
