An artist whose sound has come to define our label, Japanese phenom Shingo Nakamura presents four wonderful deep and progressive house cuts, extracted from his forthcoming Only Silk 04 compilation. The tracks featured here showcase both the deeper side of the compilation, presented by Max Flyant, as well as its peak-hour material, compiled and mixed by Shingo himself.

This sampler kicks off with a brand new take on Shingo's classic "The Four" by fellow Japanese talent Yuji Ono. A well-known progressive house and trance veteran, who has been supported over the years by the industry elite, Yuji Ono is a thrilling addition to our label roster. His peak-hour remix features a rolling bassline and suspenseful ambience. Ultimately, we are met by a profound and emotive breakdown, as Shingo's original piano motif unites with a gorgeous new string theme. The thunderous drop to follow is electrifying.

Osaka-based talent AKI Amano returns to Silk Music, having last witnessed his blissful melodic sound on a remix of Thomas Hayes' "Some Things Never Change," back in 2014. His contribution to "Only Silk 04," the equally rapturous "Scene In The Sunset," offers radiant vibes from start to finish. Fans of vintage melodic progressive house will undoubtedly share our enthusiasm for this uplifting cut.

Serbian duo Eastbound, not unlike AKI Amano, make a triumphant return to Silk Music, after first appearing on our imprint in 2014 (with "Lust"). Eastbound's latest deep-progressive offering, the gorgeous "Again," also features promising label newcomer Alex Bang. An evocative, late-night atmosphere elicits a deep and soothing reverie. While the song's chunky and hypnotic groove ushers the listener along, delicate bell-tinged synths unite blissfully with female vocal stabs.

Finally, Russian label recruit Eleven Fly (not to be confused with American veteran eleven.five) serves up the deliciously deep "Caramel." Two compositional elements play a prominent role throughout the track: an infectious bell melody, as well as a recurring and provocative vocal sample. In the main break, Eleven Fly reveals an erotic, if not hallucinogenic, soundscape, which has a way of implanting itself into the listener's psyche, far after the first listen.
