JOSEPH MERCADO

Influenced by the NYC underground club culture in the late 80s, Joseph Mercado under the moniker "DJ Dimension", began spinning at various NYC clubs & bars with DJ sets that spanned musical styles; House Music, Funk, Disco, Hip Hop & rare groove. Since then he has gone on to produce for esteemed underground labels Strictly Rhythm, King Street and Waako then started his own label imprint "next dimension music".

Throughtout his career, Joseph Mercado has performed at various events in NYC, Miami, San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix, Arizona sharing the decks with global talent such as Todd Terry, Doc Link, Aaron Ross, Eddie Amador, Marc Fairfield, William Rosario, Marc De Clive-Lowe, Charles Feelgood, Ming n FS, Marley Marl and many more.

Joseph Mercado continues to stay true to his underground roots when hosting his monthly event Cosmic which features an ecletic blend of sound featuring the best local talent in Phoenix. He also keeps the flow grooving on radio mixshows such as "The House Connection" featured on The Pulse 90.7 / 92.7 FM (USA), The Beat 106 FM (Spain), Vibes (UK) and online podcasts worldwide.
