PAWEL KOBAK

Pawel Kobak: flutist; guitarist; DJ; producer and the owner of the record label Route 33, which was nominated for a Swedish Grammy award in 2000 and 2001. Pawel started as a musician, DJ and club promotor in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden in the early 1990's and had his first record released in 1995 on Fluid Records. He then went on to make releases on some good labels such as i! Records, Romb, Metamorphic, Oh!, Astrolife, Wrongsteps and Manuscript. He spent some years in Paris, London and then Barcelona on a mission DJ'ing and promoting Swedish house music and artists. From his first release to the present day his style has remained consistent: a distinctive and unique blend of grooving House with soulful elements meshed in with deep, techy ingredients. His disparate range of disciplines and influences bleed into his music nicely, it seems.
