Comprised of Calgary scene staples AGE and Sandau, the Alberta contingent have been on the forefront of the left field house scene since their inception in 2019. With a penchant for deep and dubby minimalism, the duo have set off with crackling releases that dabble in the genres of their influence while becoming something entirely new, fresh, and left field at the same time. What transpires is a sound that can be described as minimal dub accentuated with a touch of acid, breaks, and old school rave sensibility. The result is something that is wholly their own sound and one that has sunk deep in the inertia of its listeners. Minor Sine Project is and continues to be a love letter to the styles that both partners were bred on, while forging new ground and sonic territory in the process. They have broke through with their releases on Platform 7even, Substation Recordings and Too Rough 4 Radio, with a number of future releases dropping soon.
