2TEN

2Ten learned from an early age that music was the answer. Born and raised in Toronto 2Ten wasn't a stranger to travel and instruments. Traveling to England in the early 90's shared the treat of Jungle, and house which just fuelled his musical talents as trombonist and drummer.

It seemed only right for 2TEN to explore this enormous realm of music given that he comes from a family and circle of DJs—his father was a studio and music man from Jamaica—and has numerous close friends who function internationally in the professional recording and performance scene.

Throughout the years his journey would lead him to work and live in Detroit Michigan for many years where he was engulfed with the Detroit Techno scene and fell in love all over again with this electronic landscape of drums, harmonies and melodies.

Adopting production and DJing styles from Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig and last but not least Jeff Mills, fused with jazz and Motown elements are found in all of 2Ten's productions, largely influenced by Black Coffee, Caiiro and Thakzin.

2TEN is now concentrating on production and working with producers from the US and South Africa, enjoying the journey of music along the way.
