MIDDLE JAMES

Production duo Middle James connected over their love of dance music, jazz and music culture. Formed in 2022, the pair (Sam Weeks and Connor Mackenzie) have been busy blending improvisational jazz and classical training (Weeks, a Saxophonist and Mackenzie, a pianist) into charging deep house tracks that land somewhere between Coltrane and Chaos in the CBD. With a pipeline of forthcoming releases, including an EP on Sydney's WIP Music and multiple releases on Spanish labels Miura and Stuck in Time, the pair hope to catch the attention of the global dance music scene and lock themselves in for a summer on the festival circuit.
