Miami has emerged as an internationally renowned hub of nightlife, and is an essential stop on every A-list DJ’s tour. At the same time the musical heritage of the city has been lost as venues have engaged in the inevitable chase to book the newest buzz-creating artist, or the artist who might draw the largest crowds regardless of the genre.

Oscar G has been representing the sound of Miami nightlife for over 2 decades as one half of the production team Murk and as an internationally renowned headlining DJ, and is now taking the next step in giving the authentic sounds of Miami nightlife the platform to create the awareness and visibility it so rightly deserves.

“Made in Miami is a new record label, but it's been in the making for decades,” said life-long Miami resident Oscar G. “I have been cultivating a sound distinctive to the 305 for most of my life. A fusion of chunky house beats and bass lines with Afro-Cuban and tribal rhythms. The label is a natural next step in what has been the organic growth of the true Miami sound, and will spotlight artists who have grown up immersed in it.”
