This release comes from #London's own Tony S. His first full-length album, 'North Eight,' is an abstract collection of tracks that range from downtempo to nudisco with shades of deep house and jazz mixed in throughout. This album summons that 90s-era club vibe with its funky basslines and vibrant horns. #TeamSimplistic has given this release the #BoogieCertified stamp of approval.

'It's been the biggest honour to be given a blank canvas for this project. This album is really a snapshot of what's been going through my mind over the past few months, in my corner of London, N8. As a former (and maybe resurgent) bass player with roots in jazz, funk, rock and disco it felt natural to combine these influences with some straightforward four-to-the-floor beats and sampled vocals as well as more organic and downtempo grooves.
