We are hit with Afefe Iku’s latest sonic blast, ‘Rubberband’ which is a low frequency, neck breakin’ groove using AI. The EP as a whole is a journey through sound and waves. Layers of vibrations soar on the infectious mood of ‘Memory Lapse’. Topped off with a sarcastic take on religion, he delivers ‘UR GOD’, a freaky off beat ditty as one should expect here. Originally set for vinyl release only, due to today’s woes of physical manufacturing wax we decided to no longer wait and give this its time now.
