This 3 track EP is one that delivers the range in Floyd Vader’s production style. From club banger, to slow and smooth, to a deep percussive journey, Floyd was sure to embark on a wide scope of his artistry. The leading track, a deep & percussive journey known as ‘Conductor’ is the most akin to the style of production that Floyd is most known for. Driving rhythms, gritty bass line, ethereal melodies and soundscapes, and of course heavy drums! Vader hops on vocals for this one as well to guide us to a place where we can get lost in the rhythm. Next ‘Dis Muhfuckin Groove’ almost needs no explanation! The title alone tells you what’s about to happen and it surely does. With a classic, nostalgic bounce in the intro which turns into a groove clinic, Floyd uses his own voice to drive home the point of that funk, swing and soul making your body rock! We finally conclude this project with a smooth, melodic piece that Vader calls ‘Dubs & Dimes’ which was originally created as a tribute to the late and great MF Doom and his classic tune, ‘Rhymes Like Dime’s. The silky Rhodes takes us through various moments in the soundscape where the different instruments and sound get their own unique “dub” treatment. Perfect for both the dance floor or a mellow muse.
