Cato Anaya is one of Columbia's leading DJs. We've followed him since his 2018 collaboration with Kryder, "La Cumbiambera". Recently, he has concentrated on forging Latin hooks to an organic Afro-house sound. His collaborations with Lohrasp Kansara ("Carnaval") and Augusto Yepes, Sparrow & Barbossa ("Bacabo") have been massive with like-minded DJs. On "La Noche", he takes Joe Arroyo's Latin classic and hotwires it to a rolling percussive beat, its high-octane chants blending perfectly with his synth-propelled groove.
