Solar Flare delivers two outstanding remixes of The Memory Notes’ ‘Follow The Sun’. The first mix retains the horns and strings of the feel good disco anthem, and reworks it into a bouncy soulful house party tune. The second mix is a deep and a rather epic dub that takes part of the original piano and riffs on a cut up of Diane Charlemagne’s vocals. Jon Scott’s trumpet improvisation is also given space to stretch out, to great effect.

The Memory Notes are a band devoted to the late '70s and early '80s disco sound. Their dedication results in records with great songs that wouldn't have sounded out of place at the Loft or the Paradise Garage.
